Stuff I Have Made .....

This is a small quilt I made for a friend's baby shower ...
It became Amelia's quilt ...

This is a quilt I made for a raffle .....
I am not sure who won it but the proceeds of the raffle went to aiding "Men's Health" ....

This was made for a lady in America ... we were in a cushion cover swap .... she provided the main fabric and I got to design the cushion of my choice for her ... there was enough of the fabric that I was able to make it double sided ... beautiful on the green front and the red back ...

This beautiful 'disappearing nine patch' was given to my daughters little girls ..
it is now Alicia's quilt ..

This was made for a friend as a going away gift ...
Jenni really loved it ...

This little raggy quilt was made for another grand daughter ..

it is now .. Hayley's quilt .. and she has almost worn it out ...

This quilt I made for a friend of a friend ... she had breast cancer and it was a 'comfort quilt'
it is Janet's quilt ...

This little wallhanging I made at Patchwork Class ...

it now lives at my DIL's home ...

Another little wallhanging ... for a friend who was not well ...

This was the first large quilt I made ...

it belongs to my husband .. Marcos ... both him and the dog love it ...

This placemat was made for a Mother's day swap ...
Lyn loves gum nuts .. sooo .. that is what she got ...

And a close up of the gum leaves and the gumnuts ..

I made this coffee mug bag at Patchwork Club
it was very quick to make ... once I stopped talking ...

Another coffee mug bag ... this was made on the same day as the one above ...

A very lovely lady gave me these oriental ladies when I was first
diagnosed with cancer ...
I looked at them for months and then they told me what to do ...
and this was the result ...
It really is a stunning wall hanging .. I love it .. thanks Vicki for the ladies ...

I gifted this to my son's wife when we were with them in Townsville over summer
She loves all things oriental ..

This was made for my dear friend Kylie for a wedding gift ...
she loved the one I made for Marcos and wanted one ...
and this was as big a one as I was willing to make for her ...
it took me 3 days to make and was quilted in the ditch ..

This cute little quilt was made for one of my grandsons ... Seth ..
who came into the world kicking and screaming 6 weeks early ...

A couple of 'chenille' Pot Mits ... fun and easy to make ..
and they work like a charm ...

This one I gave away as a gift ...

this Kitty Pot Mit I made for a internet swap ... I think it now lives in the US ...

This lap quilt was created from recycled cotton shirts ... it was a 'challenge day' that we had at our local Patchwork Club ... there were 6 of us who decided to do this ...... we all purchased 4 cotton shirts from thecthrift shop .. long sleeved was better (more fabric).... then we laundered them .. and cut them like this ... 2 fronts ... 2 sleeves and the back was cut in 2 up the middle ... then all the fabrics that we all brought to club were put together ... and we all got to choose 24 pieces .. and then .. we had to go home and make something ... this is what I made ... not real flash .. but it is one of the most used quilts we have ...

and its mate ... made just the way hubby wanted it .. i do not like it ...

A secret Easter Bunny gift ... in an overseas swap ...

Another Secret Easter Bunny gift ... in another overseas swap ...

A Secret Santa Gift I made for a 'local' friend ...

My grand daugther Shyanne loved Dora the Explorer ... so ...
I made her this quilt ... she loves it ...

Just a little wall hanging I made ... it was done with the stack and slash method ..
and some of the pieces were very very tiny in the end ...
The star block was 14 inches before the border ...

A Christmas gift for my husband .. I made it a few years ago ..
and each year I put just little more Chrissy bling on it ...
Just to give it that 'festive feel' .. lol
He is still a scrooge ... and one day ...
the ghosts of christmas will come visit him ...

this is a mug rug that i made a lady overseas for a
 'Summer' themed swap ...

and these placemats I made for a quilting website monthly raffle ...

and this mug rug I made for a friend who does
'relay for life' and it along with some
others will be donated for fundraising for a very worthwhile cause ...
